It didn't take long to get the Cat hitched up and heading out for some fun.
Luke and I napped instead of adventuring, which was good for both of us. But Noah came home and gave a full report about who he rode with and how fun it was to go over the bumps.
Really, though, if it involves the cousins, Noah doesn't care what it is. He's happy no matter what.
Silly brother selfie. We sure love K.C.
The next morning the weather still seemed like it might stay cold, so our plans changed a bit. We ventured over to a park that we've been to before. The kids played, we took the kayak and raft out on the water, and went on a little hike.
There was even a tennis court so we could continue the 'Tennis Everyone' tradition.
Luke has a serious obsession with balls right now, so he was more than happy to get in the way and be the ball boy.
Noah's buddy that day was Abby. They were just two peas in a pod and together most of the time we were there.
Abby and Noah walked hand in hand for about half of the hike. They laughed, ran, and happily shared an apple. Cousin germs are o.k., right?
It is just fun to be together. And to top it all off, the weather seemed to clear. There were threatening clouds and thunderstorm warnings all throughout the week, but none of it ever materialized or changed our plans where we were.
