On the Friday before Halloween we went to a Halloween party with friends. The kids all painted a pumpkin, but Luke preferred to just eat the brushes. No surprise there.
The kids all got to 'parade' and show off their costume. Noah sure liked being Farmer Brown. He loves the book Click Clack Moo so when I told him he was a farmer for Halloween he said, "I be Farmer Brown." Fine with me.
Saturday was our ward's Trunk or Treat.
I loved seeing all of the kids in their costumes, including our sweet boys.
The kids all paraded around the gym. Noah was a little nervous until I found his buddy Sadie (on the right).
Trunk or Treat was great practice for Halloween. Noah was focused and pushed his little wheelbarrow from car to car filling it with candy.
Monday I took the boys to the pumpkin patch.
These are two of my favorite shots:
Noah had a great time running around looking at everything, and I think Luke had an equally good time just watching him.
When asked about the trip, Noah said, "I rode a chicken." Indeed, he did.
Grandma and Grandpa came over on Tuesday to carve pumpkins with us. Noah kept sticking the pieces Grandma had cut out back into the pumpkin. Not helpful!
On Halloween night we had all of the family and the Havicans over for dinner.
I wonder how many shots it would take to get all of these kids looking at the camera.
The kids were ansty to get to trick or treating. Noah has been asking every day, multiple times, to go trick or treating since about mid September. It was FINALLY time.
After every house, Noah would say, "Let's go get some more treats!"
Luke did pretty well just following the boys and getting a ride in the stroller from Nate.
The next morning Noah said two things: "Hey, where's my candy?" and "We go trick or treating?" He definitely had a good time and can't wait for next year!

I love love love the wheelbarrow pictures. After talking to you tonight, I was excited to see the group pictures which proved to be fun middle of the night pumping entertainment. :)
