We spent a lot of Sunday just recovering from the fun we'd had the day before.
(A four generations picture that took way too many shots to get, and it still looks a little bit frenzied! I'd call it the best of the worst in this situation.)
It was fun sitting together and reviewing Saturday's celebration and of all the people who had come to the party.
At church the Relief Society had planned a little celebration for Gram as well.
Dinner that night was in Farmington with my friends Laurie and Andy. We've been friends since studying abroad in Israel in 1999. Her big kids loved playing with Luke, and Noah had a great time with the littler kids. And, of course, I didn't take any pictures. However, being with Laurie and Andy reminded me that distance and time doesn't have to separate friendships. If only we could be next door neighbors! I just love that girl like a sister.
On the way home we got off the freeway and drove into downtown to see the Salt Lake Temple all lit up. "Hey dat's my temple," Noah said.
