I hate first haircuts. Noah's was a bit of a disaster (NEVER go to Tangled in Roseville), and it just makes your sweet baby look all grown up.
Cute as these curls were, it was time to say good-bye.
Luke was developing a bit of a mullet in the back. That, combined with frequently using his long hair as a napkin at mealtime, meant it was time.
Even though I wasn't excited, I have to say it was a complete success. Lollipop Cuts in Granite Bay was awesome. We walked in and a kid was screaming his guts out, but Noah and Luke were unphased. I'm pretty sure that's largely because of the toys galore that they had waiting for the kids to play with.
We sat Luke in his firetruck chair and he was an angel the whole time.
I'm sure that was also due to Thomas playing on a big screen tv and plenty of other fun things on the wall and all around to look at.
And the end result? A complete success!
Cutting off those curls made him an instant big boy.
And I kind of like it. So long Baby Luke. You're pretty much a big guy now.
If they won't look at me, at least they'll look at each other. Silly boys!.
