A Few Visitors

Noah wasn't the only one excited to meet baby Luke.  Once we shared the news of his arrival, we knew we'd be seeing some familiar faces.  First up were these lovebirds.

I woke Kristina and Jason up at 5 a.m. to let them know we were on our way to the hospital.  The plan was for Kristina to be with us for Luke's delivery, so we figured she better have some notice. They were great company all morning as we waited for this little guy to arrive.

Next up was Nana, who waited ever so patiently for Noah to wake up from his nap before she could meet Luke.

Tyler and Brittany had been in Sonora and stretched out their day even longer to come see us.

Grandma and Grandpa Pebley came the next day to meet yet another great-grandson.

On the way home from the hospital we stopped and saw Papa.  That was a little bit hard.  I couldn't help but to think back two years ago when Noah was born and how much my dad has changed.  Thankfully, he was having a pretty good day and was genuinely happy to meet Luke.  But it was still hard.

We had to wait a few days on Nate's parents, because they were out of town for Thanksgiving, but they were excited and quick to snuggle Luke once they got home!
