What a great time we had acting as a 'mission president' for our Stake's Youth Conference last weekend!
These sweet girls spent the night at our house Friday night so we could prepare them for the assignment they had on Saturday morning. They were awesome in every way: smart, friendly, excited and spiritual. It was a lot of work, but all of us had a truly powerful, strengthening experience. So worth it and so memorable.
While the likelihood of us ever experiencing the real thing is pretty slim, I have to say, I've been humming 'I Hope They Call Me on a Mission' the past few days. Nate did make for a good mission president though, even if it was just overnight!

Good thing you documented it for the future when it really does come true. So, what is your calling?
You guys look like the real deal to me:)
what a neat idea!
Great job you two. R and L
What a fun activity!
So I discovered your other blog and I was dumbfounded. Where do you find the time? It is so inspiring to see that you are sharing your talent! I signed up to get email updates and I am totally using the easter basket cupcakes for preschool next week. I love "Double Batch!"
I am pretty sure that once you make it into an Ensign article, you're on the short track to General Authority. No offense, Nate, but I'm leaning towards General Relief Society presidency or Young Women's General Presidency, with you cast in the supporting role, but maybe Mission president is a possibility too.
